Business Analyst/SharePoint Developer
- Worked closely with customers to identify business objectives and needs, write user stories, provide guidance for strategic planning and software application vision, elicited business requirements, assisted in refining business cases, analyzed production issues to facilitate resolution, recommended appropriate business process enhancements, encouraged customers to own, define, and validate their own requirements, and communicated technology concerns and recommendations as related to the solution.
- Acted as a project coordinator to provide feedback to the team, assisted in the integration of activities with other teams to ensure successful implementation and support of project/product efforts, and acquired necessary application environments for software development and testing.
- Created Site Collections, Sites, customized master pages and administered group security on SharePoint solutions.
- Developed out of the box SharePoint solutions based on customer needs that were derived from interviews.
- Maintained SharePoint pages, lists, sites, and collections based on customer needs and best practices.
- Created workflows in SharePoint with Nintex Workflow. Most Nintex Workflows were triggered by the user submitting a form or adding a record to a list. Some workflows were run daily or at other intervals. The workflows varied in purpose from notifications to timer jobs that verified that a record was approved.
- Created forms with Microsoft InfoPath and Nintex Forms. The forms replaced existing Word or Excel files that were previously shared via email or in a fileshare.
- Responsible for Agile planning, running daily stand ups and Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and sprint retros
- Responsible for testing and moving initial SharePoint 2013 environments to Office 365.
- Light testing of Office 365 mobile apps.
